Daley Kappenman

Daley Kappenman grew up traveling the country with her family, but no matter where the military sent them she always kept dancing. It wasn’t until their final move to Ft. Rucker, AL, where her mom enrolled her at the Andalusia Ballet Academy, that she truly fell in love with ballet. Under the tutelage of Meryane Martin Murphy and Callie Hattchet, Daley established the foundation of her training in ballet, modern and first explored her choreographic voice. During these years, she also attended summer intensives at Nutmeg Conservatory, Nashville Ballet and Montgomery Ballet.

As graduation approached, Daley decided to pursue dancing professionally and chose to further her training at the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s Conservatory of Music and Dance. While studying at UMKC, she had the opportunity to perform alongside the Kansas City Ballet’s corps de ballet in Todd Bolender’s the Nutcracker and George Balanchine’s Serenade.

After earning her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Ballet and Modern, Daley moved to Atlanta, GA, where she performed and taught for four years. During that time, Daley had the privilege of performing with Immerse ATL, Staib Dance, Little Minute, and Bluebird Uncaged. She is thrilled to be relocating to Dallas and joining the Ballet Burn team!
